How to log in to an OTP account
Use the email, password, and TOTP secret from your order to generate the six-digit Jagex login code.
What an OTP account is
Accounts marked OTP are Jagex Accounts with TOTP authentication already enabled. Your order includes the email, password, and TOTP secret. The secret generates the rotating login code, so you do not need to open the mailbox each time you log in.
Jagex stopped allowing new legacy accounts in January 2024. Legacy logins are now scarcer and normally cost more for the same build.
How to log in
The format you receive
The login is delivered on one line. Split it at every : to separate the values.
Some accounts include a bank PIN. In that case the format is email:password:bank_pin:secret_key.
Login steps
- 1Split the delivered line at each colon to separate the email, password, and secret key (and bank PIN, if present).
- 2Open a TOTP code generator. This example works in a browser:totp.danhersam.com
- 3Paste the secret key into the input box on the TOTP generator website.
- 4Read the six-digit code. It changes every 30 seconds.
- 5Use that code with the email and password in the Jagex Launcher, game client, or bot client.
If a code is about to expire, wait for the next one before submitting the login form.
Change the email or password
Sign in to the supplied mailbox first. You can then change the Jagex Account details through Jagex account settings.

Use the supplied email and password at Eternal Accounts webmail.
