Complete guide to accessing Jagex OTP accounts with authenticator

📋 What Are OTP Accounts?

Most accounts we sell are listed as OTP (One-Time Password): Jagex accounts with authenticator enabled. The authenticator allows bots and account managers to easily log into your account without needing email access.

Why Choose OTP/Jagex Accounts?

These are generally better than legacy accounts. As of January 2024, legacy accounts cannot be created. All new accounts are Jagex accounts. This causes the price of legacy accounts to be a lot more than Jagex accounts for the same build.

Legacy accounts are also targeted with locks requiring password reset requests to be sent to your email. Jagex accounts do not suffer these issues.

🚀 How to Log Into a Jagex OTP Account

What you receive

Your account is delivered as a single line of text with each piece separated by a colon. Split it at every : to get the individual values.

Some accounts include a bank PIN. In that case the format is email:password:bank_pin:secret_key.

Step-by-Step Login Process:

Split the delivered line at each colon to separate the email, password, and secret key (and bank PIN, if present).

Visit a TOTP code generator:https://totp.danhersam.com/

Paste the secret key into the input box on the TOTP generator website.

The generator will create a 6-digit Authenticator code that refreshes every 30 seconds.

Use that code along with the email and password to log in wherever required (bot clients, game client, etc.).

⏰ Important

The 6-digit code changes every 30 seconds. Make sure to use the current code when logging in.
